I recently rang in the New Year at Hotel Villa Romantica, a delightful retreat just 800 metres from the lively heart of Szklarska Poręba. The buffet breakfast was a highlight for us, changing daily and keeping our taste buds intrigued—what a treat for any diner! The grounds were wonderfully serene; we enjoyed leisurely strolls in the beautiful park, often pausing by the fountain for some fresh air—ideal for nature enthusiasts like myself. I did find the bed a bit too soft for my back, so if you're prone to such issues, it might be worth checking on that aspect. The creaky old floors added to the hotel’s charm and gave it a unique character, while the friendly staff made us feel right at home.
